Case Studies

What the practice was struggling with, what we changed, and what came of it.

What you will find here

Every engagement below is written the same way: the situation the practice was actually in, the work we did, and what happened afterwards. Not a feature list — the specific thing that was broken and the specific thing that fixed it.

Most of this work is some combination of implementation, workflow optimization and integration. Each study lists the services it drew on, so you can go straight from a situation that sounds like yours to the page that explains how we handle it. The full service list is there if you would rather start from the other end.

Clients are anonymized by default — described by size, specialty and region rather than by name — because most of them would rather not advertise which parts of their operation needed fixing. We name a practice only when it has told us in writing that we may.

Charm Health Experts Powers Growth

A New England telebehavioral health company was stuck on two disparate legacy platforms and could not scale to meet demand. We provided fractional CTO leadership through the migration to a single integrated EHR and telehealth system — and through the security due diligence and acquisition that followed.

A note on numbers

We publish figures only when the client has given us the figure and permission to use it. Where a study describes what changed without putting a percentage on it, that is because nobody has signed off on a percentage — not because the number is unflattering.

If you want detail we have not published, ask. We can usually talk through the specifics of a comparable engagement on a call, and we are happy to provide references from past clients. Send us a note with the situation you are in, or call 650-582-4276.
